Ahead of the return of competitive league actiontomorrow, new coach Manuel Cajuda was among other TPL coaches and managers facing the press at the National Stadium in Bangkok on Thursday.
The Fire Dragons travel to the TOT Stadium to face TOT SC in what has become a big game in the Thai Premier League given BEC-Tero's current predicament. The new coach was fully aware of the challenge ahead, saying:
"I know it's a difficult situation and the next game is tough. We need to have a positive attitude. By having an optimistic approach we can overcome our obstacles.
"In the last few years BEC-Tero have had very good results, regularly finishing in high positions in the league. I hope that with my experience in football over many years I can help the club achieve its objectives."
Cajuda would not be drawn on speaking about individual players, choosing to focus on the collective:
"In my view all the players are equal. I respect them all. The most important thing right now is the team as a whole."
